The Problem:
How might we make financial planning and education easier and inclusive of all people from different economic and cultural backgrounds?
Young professionals today face significant financial challenges despite being more diverse and better educated than previous generations. With rising costs of living, mounting student debt, and inadequate financial literacy education in school, they are often overwhelmed by their financial responsibilities.
The Goal:
Empower users to take control of their financial futures regardless of their background or experience.
My Role:
As a UX designer and researcher, I worked with a team of four to develop a client product. We conducted research and analyzed data to inform our design decisions. Using the insights gathered, I created a user-centered prototype, while still collaborating with the team. This allowed me to use my skills in UX design and research to create a successful product that met our client's needs.

My Team:
As a UX/UI designer on a research team of four, I helped identify and define user needs. Using those insights, I later created my own product. Collaborating with the team allowed me to learn and contribute to the collective knowledge, while branching off allowed me to explore my own ideas and bring a unique perspective to the project. This taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration while still valuing individual creativity and innovation.
